Scaling & Cleaning

No matter how well you brush, hardened plaque (tartar) builds up over time. Professional scaling removes it gently, protecting your gums and your teeth. Scaling does not damage or loosen healthy teeth — that is a myth we are happy to bust.

  • Persistent bad breath
  • Visible yellow or brown tartar near the gum line
  • It has been more than six months since your last cleaning

Honest Answers

Questions about scaling & cleaning

Does scaling damage or loosen teeth?
+
No. This is one of the most common myths in Pakistan. Scaling removes the tartar that is actually harming your gums. Healthy teeth are not affected.
Will it hurt?
+
For most people it is comfortable. If your gums are inflamed it may be sensitive, and we can numb the area for a deep clean.
How often should I get it done?
+
For most people, every six months. We will tell you honestly if you need it more or less often.
